Sabby has been an avid blogger since 2004. She was actively blogging in her now-defunct requestshow.blogspot.com but she felt that she needed a change of environment so here she is in wordpress.com.
Sabby blogs about topics ranging from shoes, reviews, growing up, having the blues, love, friends, families and other calamities in her life. She can be light-hearted. She can be serious and practical. She can be a tad too emotional. She can be loud and critical. She can be utterly nonsensical in an insane way. She’s predictable and unpredictable at the same time.
She transcribes things that are beneath her exterior into words in her entries. Showing off is never in her agenda. Under the Duvet (Sabby’s blog), like Marian Keye’s novel Under the Duvet (she’s a fan of Marian Keyes, hence the blog title and the same concept), carries published work of her life which she wants to share with people as insights into her life without pretense. She just wants people to know her for who she is, and perhaps accept her for that.
Ultimately, she wants to look back into her life through her published work in her older days, and smile to herself, feeling satisfied that her life has not gone to waste because she managed to share it with others. She’d be glad if her tips on buying shoes help or if her experience inspires others to do something they don’t dare to do.
Sabby has no regrets. I have no regret. I sincerely thank you for reading.
